31 Days of Moustache: Vincent Price

Name: Vincent Price
DOB: May 27, 1911
DOD: October 25, 1993
Profession: Actor
Claim to Fame: Numerous roles in horror films
Prime YAM (Years Active with Moustache): 50s, 60s, 70s

Why It's Awesome:
Vincent Price is an iconic horror figure of the 20th century. He is known for his distant voice and of course, his moustache. He was clean shaven in the early years of his career, but made a smart career decision. Grow out the 'stache.

What happened after he had the 'stache? There's House of Wax, The Fly, and House on Haunted Hill. He and Roger Corman made numerous films in the 60s. Then, there is some of his best known roles. How can anyone forget Dr. Phibes (see above video)? Or The Inventor?

Final 'Stache Rating (Out of Four Moustaches):

This 'stache has longevity. It's simple, but for a man like Price, it works. Especially for a career in horror. His slick 'stache made his roles even better.

I love Vincent Price and he would not be the same if it wasn't for his mustach. Dr. Phibes was pure genious and that mustach was amazing.
