31 Days of Moustache: John Waters

Name: John Waters
DOB: April 22, 1946
DOD: Still Alive
Profession: Filmmaker
Claim to Fame: Director of trash films such as Pink Flamingos and Hairspray
Prime YAM (Years Active with Moustache): 70s

Why It's Awesome:
Out of all the people on this list, John Waters is perhaps the oddest of the bunch. He has made a name for himself over the years being the master of the trash film. His filmography is full of cult favorites such as Pink Flamingos, Hairspray, and Cry-Baby.

Waters' legend has also grown through the years with frequent appearances on VH1's I Love the 70s. He also has an odd fascination with true crime and serial killers. He has a large collection of murder related items from the likes of John Wayne Gacy. He even hosted 'Til Death Do Us Part on Court TV.

Waters proves that odd people have moustaches, too. That's what makes him stand out in the group.

Final 'Stache Rating (Out of Four Moustaches):

Waters goes with the pencil 'stache. It's really subtle, but it adds to his eccentric character. For a guy as weird as him, it is perfect.
