31 Days of Moustache: Groucho Marx

Name: Groucho Marx
DOB: October 2, 1890
DOD: August 19, 1977
Profession: Actor and Comedian
Claim to Fame: One of the Marx Brothers
Prime YAM (Years Active with Moustache): 30s

Why It's Awesome:
Groucho had one of the best looks of the 20th century. His greasepaint moustache and eyebrows and glasses were his trademark. I couldn't pick out any of the Marx brothers other than Groucho due to his iconic look. He's like the cool Marx brother.

Groucho was more than just a man with a moustache, too. The Marx Brothers had an impressive list of comedy films in the early days of cinema. They are probably most remembered for Duck Soup, A Day at the Races, and A Night at the Opera to name a few. He was one of the first great comedians in film and had a career that lasted until his death in the late 70s.

Final 'Stache Rating (Out of Four Moustaches):

Like Chaplin, Marx had a fake 'stache, but it was his trademark. Easily one of the most recognizable of the 20th century. Also like Chaplin, I can't give Marx four 'staches since it's fake.

As a huge Marx Brothers fan and a Groucho nut, I zealously approve this 'stache.
