31 Days of Moustache: Billy Dee Williams

Name: Billy Dee Williams
DOB: April 6, 1937
DOD: Still Alive
Profession: Actor
Claim to Fame: Lando Calrissian or the spokesman for Colt 45
Prime YAM (Years Active with Moustache): 70s and 80s

Why It's Awesome:
Billy really made the moustache sexy for African Americans.  He was like Burt Reynolds counterpart in the 70s.  The only difference was that Burt was white and Billy was black. Yeah, I know...

He was true sex appeal in his day.  Is this a surprise?  Not at all.  That's the power of the 'stache.  Most people remember him in the original Star Wars trilogy.  I recently saw an interview on why he was cast as Lando.  Do you know what the answer was?  He had a moustache and no one had a moustache in A New Hope.  They needed the 'stache represented.  Other people may remember him as playing Harvey Dent in Tim Burton's Batman.  He was screwed out of playing Two Face in Batman Forever (Damn you, Tommy Lee Jones).  Do you what to know why?  He wouldn't shave his moustache. He's that hardcore.

It's okay, though. He did land a role in The Jacksons: An American Dream as Berry Gordy.  Oh, and how can we about Colt 45 (see above video).

Final 'Stache Rating (Out of Four Moustaches):

His 'stache is standard. It works for him, but anyone can grow a Billy Dee Williams' 'stache.
