It's Okay Boston, Brady is Going to be Fine

I really think the sports world is desperate for a Super Bowl story right now. They don't know what to do with themselves after the Packers blew the NFC Championship against the Giants. You had a potential "dream" match between two of the best quarterbacks of this generation, now you have a matchup that many people don't want to see. So, what happens? People don't have much to write about and try to find a story.

What's the story this time? Tom Brady has a cast on his foot. Folks, calm down. It's nothing serious. If anything, the Patriots are adding fuel to the fire by not having Brady practice or talk to the media. That's the Patriots for you. Did you know Tom Brady has been on the injury report every week for the last three years or so with a "right shoulder" injury? Brady did have a shoulder problem for a time, but they never took his name off the list. Bill Belichick does that.

Even if Brady is hurt, would the Patriots even hint that to the Giants? Not at all. Did Philip Rivers tell everyone before the AFC Championship that he had surgery before the game? No. In sports, you're supposed to keep quiet about that stuff. So, they'll never be a story about it. I wouldn't even be surprised if Brady is completely unavailable to the media until media day of the Super Bowl.

The point I'm trying to make is that every sports channel and/or site is trying to make a big deal about Tom Brady in a foot cast. I can almost guarantee you that every sports channel in Boston doesn't even care about it. They're probably just talking about how the Patriots are going to beat the Giants.
